Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signs a resolution approving the legislative agenda of the Government for 2013
The legislative agenda of the Russian Government for 2013 has been approved in order to ensure the implementation of provisions included in the socio-economic development programmes and other policy documents of the President and the Government. It consists of eight parts and provides for drafting 89 laws in 2013.
These laws should be aimed at improving and strengthening people’s health, improving the healthcare and pension systems, improving the system of using natural resources and further developing agriculture, preserving cultural heritage, improving the judicial and penal systems, maintaining the stability of the budget and banking systems, enhancing the efficiency of state governance, forming a favourable business environment, improving urban development and developing transport and communications.
