At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich discussed the reorganisation of Rostelecom and Svyazinvest under Presidential Executive order No 340 of 24 March, 2012 on reorganising Rostelecom, an open joint-stock company for long-distance domestic and international telephone lines.

Mr Dvorkovich noted that at this stage that all members of the board should be involved in the reorganisation efforts. He emphasised the need to consider the interests of all shareholders and to ensure the transparency of all procedures, and urged the board members to develop closer cooperation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of all relevant federal executive bodies and departments of the Government Executive Office.
