Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich holds the 10th meeting of the Russian-Israeli intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation in Jerusalem

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Israel Avigdor Lieberman headed the Israeli side at the meeting.

The parties discussed projects in agriculture, industry, high technology, communications and aircraft security. They also discussed energy and water supply technology sharing. According to the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, bilateral cooperation is developing well in general, and the Russian-Israeli relations have a large potential. Meanwhile Arkady Dvorkovich said that some issues remain unsolved, such as retirement insurance and the creation of a free trade zone. Following the results of the commission's work, the parties signed the following documents: the Memorandum on Measures Reducing International Roaming Tariffs between Russia and Israel; the Programme of Joint Action in 2013-2014 in Implementing the Agreement on Cooperation in Tourism; the Protocol on Organising the Days of Moscow in Israel in 2013; a Memorandum on Cooperation between Moscow's Department of Healthcare and Ramat-Aviv Medical Centre; the Final Protocol of the 10th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.
