The issue was discussed at the meeting of the Government on November 22, 2012. The Government took the following resolutions:

1. To approve the draft state programme, The Development of the Aircraft Industry for 2013-2025.

2. In the process of developing the draft federal budget for 2014 and the 2015-2016 planning period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Finance and Minister Mikhail Abyzov jointly with the relevant organisations shall finalise measures of state support for Russian-made aircraft sales and specify the relevant measures of the aforementioned programme and their evaluation indicators if needed.

A report on the results of the work shall be made to the Government in July 2013.

3. The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Defence Ministry jointly with the relevant federal executive bodies and organisations shall take necessary measures to create a system to oversee the following: the quality and pricing of Russian-made aircraft equipment, to  boost its competitiveness, as well as to ensure the servicing and maintenance of aircraft equipment predominately by producers. 

A report on the results of the work shall be made to the Government in the first quarter of 2013.
