He said the organising committee would consider the initiative of the Rosnanotech state corporation on establishing an international prize in nanotechnologies.

The meeting also discussed preparations for the forum, its regulations and the committee on its agenda.

Mr Ivanov said the state had in recent times devoted much of its attention to the development of nanotechnologies. However, Mr Ivanov added that success in this undertaking is achievable only if Russian businesses participate, with talented young professionals making their contribution and international exchanges being developed in that field.
