The Russian prime minster met with President of Cape Verde Jorge Carlos Fonseca, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic. Mr Medvedev congratulated Mr Nikolic on his recent election win.  

The meetings were used to discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues. The sides agreed to continue economic cooperation.

The Russian prime minister also met with the President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba Raul Castro, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane. The sides discussed various aspects of further cooperation.
