The Prime Minister was shown a slide presentation of a nationwide information system that collects data from all the regions on natural gas consumption, overdrafts and failure on the part of the consumer to withdraw the contracted amount.

He watched a real time demonstration, using St Petersburg as an example, where he was able to track gas consumption and make consumption forecasts for the future.

This system, which creates a common information technology space, can be integrated into the government fuel and energy information system, which is currently being created in accordance with the law that went into effect on January 1, 2012.
