In Dubna, Moscow Region, Acting Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin toured the production facilities of the enterprise, which develops and manufactures missiles for various purposes, and held a meeting on the situation and prospects in the field of hypersonic missile development.

Dmitry Rogozin said that research in the development of advanced hypersonic weapons systems has resumed since 2009. "This comprehensive work will make it possible to lay the foundation for creating competitive Russian models of hypersonic weapons in the short term," he said.

In his view, this issue should be raised to the highest level of government, and relevant regulatory acts will be developed to this end in the near future.
