Participants:

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin inspected samples of equipment manufactured by the enterprise located in the town of Reutov, outside Moscow, in particular the Brahmos joint Russian-Indian supersonic anti-ship missile and the Strela (Arrow) light-class booster rocket, the design of which is based on the UR-100N intercontinental ballistic missile.

During the meeting with senior corporate executives, Dmitry Rogozin emphasised that the work being done by the plant is unique and will be supported by the government.

“Thanks to your work, no one will be able to create a so-called missile defence, which may impart a sense of impunity to a particular state,” Rogozin said, adding that “a missile defence system is an illusion no matter how much money is invested in it, because we will never allow anyone to upset the strategic balance.”

In addition to the development of the aerospace industry, Dmitry Rogozin outlined prospects for the civil aviation and the civilian aerospace industry, focusing on the need to look for new means of communication “within such a vast, great country.”
