While visiting the bobsleigh and luge track at Krasnaya Polyana, President Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi learned about its features from athletes, including Winter Olympics medal winner, luger Albert Demchenko. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak also shared his opinion.

On Friday, an International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation commission, which will assess the facility, will end its work at the site.

Members of the Russian team requested that the construction be completed sooner, so that they could start their training sessions.

"Everything will be completed by the end of March, while an acceleration overpass will be installed here next year," Kozak said.

According to the deputy prime minister, Krasnaya Polyana will have an up-to-date training center for national bobsleigh teams and ski jumpers by 2014.

"The finances are planned for 2014, with a dormitory and a hotel to open here. Everything will be alright," Kozak assured.
