As a result of the discussion, Viktor Zubkov instructed members of the working group to prepare specific proposals within ten days on strengthening state control and supervision over safety operations at consumer gas facilities, toughening safety regulations in this area and increasing accountability for violating them.

"It is clear that the existing standards for ensuring the safe operation of the consumer gas infrastructure require serious adjustments," Viktor Zubkov stressed.
