PRESS RELEASE*
The following decisions were made at the January 26, 2012 Government meeting:
1. Draft Federal Law On Ratification of the Convention on Protection of Workers' Claims in the Event of the Insolvency of Their Employer (Convention No. 173)
The government approved the draft federal law, which is to be submitted to the State Duma.
2. Signing the Agreement Between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan on Cooperation in the Area of Labour Migration
The government adopted a draft executive order on the issue.
3. Submitting to the Russian president the proposal to sign the Agreement Between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Order of Stay of Russian Citizens in Kazakhstan and Citizens of Kazakhstan in Russia
The government adopted a draft resolution on the issue.
4. Draft Federal Law on the Annulment of Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Government
The government approved the draft federal law, which is to be submitted to the State Duma.
5. Draft Federal Law On Amendments to Article 258, Part 2 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation
The government approved the draft federal law, which is to be submitted to the State Duma.
6. Draft Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on Shipping Regulations of Certain Kinds of Steel Pipes Made in Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation
The government approved the draft federal law, which is to be submitted to the State Duma.
7. Introducing Amendments to the Statute on the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation
The government adopted a draft resolution on the issue.
8. Introducing amendments to the Statute on the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation
The government adopted a draft resolution on the issue.
9. Establishing an organising committee for preparing and holding the 2013 World Martial Arts Games in St Petersburg
The government adopted a draft executive order on the issue.
10. Introducing amendments to the list of members of the Russian Government Presidium
The government adopted a draft executive order on the issue.
11. Allocating funds from the Russian Government’s Reserve Fund for Emergencies Prevention and Disaster Relief to the Government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic for relief efforts following the legitimate counter-terrorism operation in the village of Atazhukino, Baksan Municipal District, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, on August 26, 2011.
The government adopted a draft executive order on the issue.
12. Allocating funds from the Russian Government’s Reserve Fund for Emergencies Prevention and Disaster Relief to the government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic for relief efforts following the legitimate counter-terrorism operation in the town of Baksan, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, on September 3, 2011.
The government adopted a draft executive order on the subject.
