At the end of his working trip to the Kurgan Region, Vladimir Putin visits the regional perinatal centre under construction

Participants:

The prime minister inspected the newly completed outpatient clinic and intensive care ward and toured the building's floors where he heard about the progress of the work and the medical centre's future potential.

The centre is to be staffed by over 600 personnel and will become the main healthcare facility for expectant mothers.

According to Kurgan Region Governor Oleg Bogomolov, the centre will be ready to open after March 15.

Putin was pleased with what he saw and said that, as a rule, centres like this, in addition to improving things in their mainstream field, also raise medical care standards in the region as a whole.
