Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited a tent hospital established by the Ministry of Emergencies in Alagir in North Ossetia

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited a tent hospital established by the Ministry of Emergencies in Alagir in North Ossetia, where South Ossetian residents who had suffered from Georgian bombing had been brought to.

After that the Prime Minister visited the camp for refugees from South Ossetia, where women, old people and children had been relocated. There are 436 people in this camp. Mr Putin saw for himself the living conditions of the refugees.

The refugees told the Prime Minister about the atrocities perpetrated by the Georgian army. Mr Putin described their actions as "a full-scale genocide".
