I am pleased to note that Russian-Jordanian relations continue to develop. We are closely following regional developments and are noting your active efforts to settle the situation and your substantial contribution to the Middle East peace process.

I am convinced that your visit to Russia will help strengthen bilateral ties and will serve as a good pretext for exchanging opinions on the regional situation.

Abdullah bin al-Hussein: Thank you very much. I am very happy to come to Moscow once again. It is a great honour to meet you because you have always been a good friend of my country.

You have correctly noted that our relations continue to improve with every visit. I am very glad to note active bilateral cooperation. Our political, economic and military cooperation is unprecedentedly successful.

I hope that my two-day visit to Russia will contribute to expanded future bilateral ties. Thank you once again for the warm-hearted reception you always accord to me.
