Deputy prime ministers Alexander Zhukov and Dmitry Kozak hold a meeting at the Government House on the development of tourism and recreation special economic zones in the Kaliningrad Region and the Stavropol Territory
Following the meeting, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and executive bodies in the Kaliningrad Region and the Stavropol Territory were instructed to take measures to increase the efficiency of using these territories and to submit a development strategy for these special economic zones to the government by January 1, 2012.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economic Development proposed that special economic zones be abolished in these regions.
