On the agenda at the meeting were current issues regarding the placement of state defence contracts with a number of United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) enterprises, such as Zvezdochka and Admiralteyskie Verfi, that found themselves on the brink of a shutdown as the result of delays in contract placements.

The participants in today's meeting also discussed the way that decisions are being implemented, which had been made at a meeting that the prime minister held on similar issues at the end of July.
