In order to boost the efficiency of customs control over timber exports, the sub-commission members backed the introduction of higher customs duties amounting to €100 per cubic metre on partially processed hardwood.

Following discussions, a decision was adopted on the possibility of raising the euro component of the customs rate for liquid-electrolyte accumulators from €3.3 to €5.7 per item.

The meeting participants agreed to the unification of import customs duties on electronic games with or without a television display at 12.5% of the customs cost.

The sub-commission members found it appropriate to retain the current import customs duty rates for ferroalloys and detonators, as well as industrial and agricultural tires.

The participants agreed that additional consideration is needed to adjust current import customs duty rates for certain types of aluminium foil and fat-free dairy products.
