At the meeting the high officials discussed long-term Russian natural gas deliveries to China.

After the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin and Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Qishan signed a protocol to the memorandum of understanding on natural gas partnership dated June 24, 2009 in the presence of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
