Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin meets with Chief Executive Officer of Royal Dutch Shell Peter Voser

Mr Sechin and Mr Voser discussed a broad range of oil and gas related issues as well as current Shell projects in Russia, including Sakhalin-2 and Sakhalin-3, and the prospects for promoting the company's cooperation with Russian partners.

During the talks, they paid particular attention to opportunities for long-term cooperation in geological prospecting and the development of oil and gas resources on the Arctic shelf and in the Black Sea. The discussion also touched upon Shell's cooperation with Russian companies in other countries, the modernisation of oil processing, and the exchange of modern technology and production facilities for right to develop resources on Russian territory. Deputy Energy Minister Sergei Kudryashov and Rosneft President Eduard Khudainatov also attended the meeting.
