Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visits the ZhBI-6 concrete plant where he checks out its production cycle and compares old and new equipment

Participants:

The plant’s director told Prime Minister Putin about the history of the plant. In particular, he noted that the plant had been modernised in 2007-2008. He showed the prime minister a new reinforced concrete slab production line that can produce slabs with a perfectly even surface, which was not possible on the old production line.

For the sake of comparison, the plant managers showed Vladimir Putin an old workshop that still uses the equipment designed in the second half of the 20th century.

The plant’s director also said that the latest concrete production technology helps improve the quality of housing construction, with seamless facade finishing considerably reducing heat loss.
