Documents related to holding the Formula One Russian Grand Prix in Sochi were signed in the presence of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin
The documents signed included:
- A contract between the Omega Construction Technology Transfer Centre in the Krasnodar Territory and the organisers of the FIA Formula One World Championship on organising a Russian phase of the Grand Prix.
- A cooperation agreement between a number of leading Russian companies on organising and holding FIA Formula One World Championship events in Sochi.
