Following a meeting on the wildfires in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin arrived at the Lazurny children's recreation camp, which has provided lodging for people evacuated from areas affected by wildfires.

Mr Putin toured the living quarters and the cafeteria, taking stock of the accommodations provided, and spoke with the evacuees.

Responding to evacuees' requests for help, the prime minister assured them they will receive all the necessary assistance. "Rest and recuperate, everything will be alright," Mr Putin said.
