After the meeting of the Council for Physical Fitness and Sports, Vladimir Putin spoke to representatives of the Russian Paralympic fencing team.

"We were just discussing the development of Paralympic sports and came to the conclusion that we spend 15 times less money on it than on regular sports and we get 20 times more results," the prime minister said about the athletes' achievements.

The athletes thanked the prime minister for paying attention to the Paralympic sport and presented him with a CD of the Russian anthem sung by one of the team members. The team asked Vladimir Putin for his autograph to commemorate the visit.
