Mykola Azarov: Mr Prime Minister, welcome! I understand that we still have many issues to discuss. We have managed to find solutions to some major problems that are mutually beneficial and in the interests of both sides. However, there are several problems that we still need to discuss.

Vladimir Putin: Mr Azarov, thank you very much for your invitation. This week we will have an important meeting of the intergovernmental commission, and I would like for us to get our bearings beforehand and discuss the agenda for this major meeting. More than that, I would like to report our plans to the Ukrainian president.

At both this meeting and the upcoming meeting with the Ukrainian president, we are ready to make ambitious proposals for joint projects and bilateral cooperation in a very important area.
