The message reads, in part:

"This holiday has become the symbol of the strong traditions of friendship and neighbourliness that unite our countries. Much progress has been made in recent years on strengthening the Union State, on boosting integration processes as part of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space. I am confident that the further expansion of diversified bilateral cooperation and the implementation of major mutual projects in all sectors of the economy will serve the fundamental interests of Russia and Belarus."
