You joined Academician Chelomei’s famous design bureau upon graduation from the institute and became Hero of Socialist Labour at the age of 30 thanks to your outstanding contribution to the development of missile and aerospace technology. You directed the design work on strategic missiles and on the Polyot spacecraft, the Almaz and Proton automated space stations and the Salyut orbital stations.

It is great that you are still doing much for the development of the enterprise and are conducting extensive research. I wish you health and good luck with everything you undertake.
