The meeting discussed the gasification of Russia, in particular Kamchatka, the building of a new Sakhalin- Khabarovsk-Vladivostok trunk pipeline, diversification of hydrocarbon deliveries and the creation of a new pipeline system via Turkey to Israel.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and President of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin discussed the situation in the sector of rail cargo transportation and the operation of the rail monopoly, RZD.
Mr Zubkov told the meeting that the Russian Government, in spite of the crisis, was planning to earmark 72 billion roubles for new agricultural projects in 2009. All the earlier projects will also be credited.
