Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited the State Theatre of Nations, where he observed a tradition of the theatre and hammered into the stage a silver coin issued the year the theatre was founded.

Vladimir Putin and Jorge Giordani discussed bilateral cooperation in energy, construction, military-technical collaboration and finance. Vladimir Putin said Russian-Venezuelan relations continued to expand in all these fields.

“Russia has a special relationship with China, and not only because it is a close neighbour. We share many tasks and have common problems and common views on many processes under way in the international community. China is Russia’s strategic partner in the true and direct sense of this word.”
