The two officials discussed expanding the Emergencies Ministry’s operations in East Siberia and the Far East to “promptly respond to any emergency”, as the prime minister said. He has also asked Shoigu to formulate proposals on the development of East Siberia as a government member and an individual who was born there and knows the region well.
“It is important that we have always listened to and understood each other. Although at times we disagreed, we have always tried to find proper and balanced solutions. I have had ample opportunity to see that we are united by a common goal – that of serving Russia.”
“We would very much like to develop further cooperation with all our traditional partners, based on international agreements and regulations and within the ICAO framework.”
“It looks like we will have a surplus budget,” the prime minister said at the meeting. The minister of economic development and acting minister of finance confirmed that they expect a surplus budget this year.
“We are all aware of the persuasive power of the cinema and its potential to convey human emotions. I believe that it should be a constructive force that elevates audiences.”
