The Federal Archival Agency is a federal executive agency for government services, federal property management and law enforcement in archiving.
The Federal Archival Agency has the following functions in the said field:
a) rendering state services in archiving;
b) state registration of documents of the Russian Archival Agency and keeping the State Register of Unique Documents of the Russian Archival Agency;
c) guaranteeing compliance with the rules of acquisition, storage, registration and use of archive documents.
