1982: graduated from the Sverdlovsk State Medical Institute, and in 2000 from the Russian Government’s Economic Academy, with a degree in Hygiene and Epidemiology. Doctoral degree in Medicine
1982-1984: doctor at a Sverdlovsk city hospital.
1984-1989: head doctor at the Beloyarskaya nuclear power plant’s Preventive Treatment Centre in Zarechny, Sverdlovsk Region.
1989-1999: sick-bay head doctor in Zarechny, Sverdlovsk Region.
1999-2002: Deputy Head of the Russian Health Ministry’s Federal Department of Medical-Biological Problems and Emergencies in Moscow.
2002-2003: CEO of VIRU Ltd in Zarechny, Sverdlovsk Region.
