August 1995 - July 2000: was in the diplomatic service working in various positions at the Russian Embassy in Mexico and at the Latin America Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
July 2000 - December 2002: consultant and advisor at the Current Information Department, Chief of the Department for Liaison with the Media at the Press Service Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation.
December 2002 - May 2008: Deputy Chief of the Press Service and Information Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation.
On May 19, 2008: appointed Director of the Department of the Press Service and Information of the Government of the Russian Federation.
