Deputy Prime Minister Zhukov began the meeting by noting that Russia and Vietnam have long-standing ties in education. He reiterated Russia's commitment to continue accepting Vietnamese students, post-graduates and interns at Russian universities, including through scholarship programmes. Mr Zhukov also supported the idea of creating a joint Russian and Vietnamese institute of higher education or a school affiliated with a renowned Russian university.
