The meeting reviewed the work of the Russian Federation delegation at the Council for Financial Stability. The meeting included a discussion on proposals to harmonize Russian Federation legislation with the priority measures being taken by the Council as part of the package to form new financial markets architecture.
In addition, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Service for Financial Markets and the Central Bank of Russia reported on the action plan for the creation of an international financial center in the Russian Federation and on additional measures for the development of the financial system.
The next meeting of the Council is scheduled for the beginning of 2010.
