The two men discussed the development of integration between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, including joint efforts to deal with the consequences of the world financial crisis.
Among other issues discussed were progress in the preparation for major events in the framework of the Russia-Belarus Union State: the meetings of the Supreme State Council and of the Council of Ministers due to be held shortly.
