Materials for the Government meeting dated April 25, 2013

 
 
 

The meeting participants will discuss the following issues:

 1. The national report on the progress and the results of the 2008-2012 State Programme for Agricultural Development and Regulation of Agricultural Products, Commodities and Food Markets in 2012. 

The draft national report outlines the primary results of agricultural activities in 2012 and in 2008-2012 for all of the major sections of the programme, evaluates the performance with regard to the targets of the federal and industry-specific programmes for individual types of agricultural products and areas of agricultural production; forecasts the development of agriculture in 2013, and contains proposals for the adjustment of the individual parameters of the 2013-2020 State Programme for Agricultural Development and Regulation of Agricultural Products, Commodities and Food Markets.

2. Evaluation of the performance of the executive authorities of the Russian Federation in 2012

The report provides the rankings of the regions based on a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the executive authorities of the Russian regions.

The following rankings of the Russian regions have been compiled based on a comprehensive assessment conducted as of late 2012.

The first 20 spots in the ranking went to the following regions: 1 – the Nenets Autonomous Area; 2 – the Republic of Tatarstan; 3 – the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area; 4 - Moscow; 5 - St. Petersburg; 6 – the Voronezh Region; 7 – the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra; 8 – the Belgorod Region; 9 – Magadan; 10 – the Moscow Region; 11 – the Leningrad Region; 12 - the Republic of Khakassia; 13 – the Kirov Region; 14 – the Lipetsk Region; 15 – the Vladimir Region; 16 – the Chechen Republic; 17 – the Karachayevo-Circassian Republic; 18 – the Tyumen Region; 19 – the Bryansk Region; and, 20 – the Krasnodar Territory.

Places from 64 to 83 were distributed as follows:
64 – the Republic of Bashkortostan; 65 – the Sakhalin Region; 66 – the Amur Region; 67 – Irkutsk; 68 – the Saratov Region; 69 – the Volgograd Region; 70 – the Rostov Region; 71 – the Omsk Region; 72 – the Murmansk Region; 73 – the Trans-Baikal Territory; 74 – the Primorye Territory; 75 – the Tver Region; 76 – the Republic of Tuva; 77 – the Jewish Autonomous Region; 78 – the Kamchatka Territory; 79 – the Republic of Dagestan; 80 – the Republic of Karelia; 81 – the Republic of Altai; 82 – the Chelyabinsk Region; and, 83 – the Kurgan Region.
