Yana Ivanova, the centre's director, told Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev that the facility can take on some 3,000 children annually, holding ten sessions, each with 250-300 students on average.
During their stay at the centre, the children continue their studies. They also engage in sports activities and undergo health-improving treatment.
During his visit, Mr Medvedev toured the centre's medical and sports facilities and spoke with students.
