The above issue was discussed at a Government meeting on 7 December 2012. The following decisions were taken:
1. After having been discussed, the draft State Programme "Industry Development and Increasing Competitiveness" was approved.
2. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Finance will prioritise the funding of the sub-programmes, " construction and functional composite materials of a new generation" and "Rare Earth Metals Technology" when allocating funding for the State Programme.
3. The Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry and Trade in cooperation with the concerned agencies and organisations will ensure the coordination of the measures envisioned by the State Programme for The Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Agricultural Product, Raw Materials and Food Markets for the Period 2013 to 2020, and those in the State Programme "Industry Development and Increasing Competitiveness" with regard to Russia's flax industry development.
The results are to be reported to the Government of the Russian Federation by 26 March 2013.
