Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov laid flowers at the memorial to those killed during the first Georgia-Ossetia war of 1989-1992.
This memorial is located near School No. 5, which also suffered substantial damage during the August 2008 invasion of South Ossetia by Georgia.
