At the end of his visit to the exhibition, Dmitry Medvedev attended the signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement between the government of the Sverdlovsk Region, Trade House TMK and Siemens AG.
The following agreements were signed in the presence of the prime minister:
- agreement between the Urals Federal University named after Boris Yeltsin, the First President of Russia, and Siemens AG;
- cooperation agreement between the government of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Urals University Complex, and Intel Corporation (UK) Limited;
- agreement between the Uralvagonzavod research and production corporation and Bombardier Transportation on organising production of modern metro cars and street cars.
