Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin visits the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology

The deputy prime minister found out more about the organisation's strictly civil projects, in particular, water ozonation and desalination equipment, as well as its military developments.

The Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology is the country's only developer of the Topol-M solid-propellant strategic intercontinental missile system and the Bulava sea-launched intercontinental ballistic missiles. "The developments of the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology for overcoming missile defence systems will undoubtedly be in demand in weapons programmes. They will allow Russia to feel completely safe, even if a missile defence system is deployed on a global scale and affects our interests," Dmitry Rogozin said.

The deputy prime minister also stressed that the systems designed for modern Russian missile complexes would be guaranteed to overcome any existing or future ballistic missile systems.
