Upon his arrival in the capital of Tatartstan, Kazan, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin headed straight to the city's river port to lay flowers at the Bulgaria shipwreck impromptu memorial. Others have left candles, flowers and toys in remembrance of the more than a hundred passengers and crew who died on July 10 when the Bulgaria river boat sank in the Volga River near Kazan.
