Women give each one of us life, and, for that alone, all men should be grateful. Perhaps such a gift might speak for itself, but, of course, its expression does not suffice. We look first to our mothers, to our grandmothers, and as we grow, we look to our spouses, to our daughters. If we have no daughters, then we have daughters-in-law. Women accompany us through every moment of our lives. And, as men, we strive for women to enrich our lives, but whether or not that is the case depends, above all, upon us.
