PRESS RELEASE*
The following decisions were taken on the issues included on the agenda for the meeting of the Government Presidium of the Russian Federation held on January 25, 2011:
I. Disaster relief for victims and family members of those killed in the terror attack at Domodedovo airport on January 24, 2011
The government of the Russian Federation has approved a draft executive order on this issue and asked Russia’s Transport Ministry, Federal Security Service, and Interior Ministry, in conjunction with relevant executive bodies and organisations, to analyse the level of security of transport infrastructure facilities and of their protection against terror attacks and submit increased security proposals within a week’s time.
II. Construction of the Vostochny Space Centre.
The government of the Russian Federation has listened to the report by the Russian Space Agency, Roskosmos, on this issue.
III. Draft federal law On Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Article 151 of the Criminal Procedural Code of the Russian Federation
The government of the Russian Federation has approved the draft federal law and resolved to submit it to the State Duma for consideration.
IV. Draft federal law On Amendments to Articles 3482 and 34811 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation
The government of the Russian Federation has approved the draft federal law and resolved to submit it to the State Duma for consideration.
V. Amendments to the Regulations on the Federal Service for Financial Markets
The government of the Russian Federation has adopted a draft resolution on this issue.
