During the Government Presidium meeting held on December 1 this year, Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin reported to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin that the construction work to repair housing, which was damaged by wildfires in the summer and autumn of this year in residential areas of the Volgograd Region and the Altai Territory, was completed. Construction of housing for fire victims in other regions of the Russian Federation had already been completed by November 1, 2010.
The video feed from surveillance cameras installed in residential areas damaged by wildfires was turned off because construction work was completed in general.
