The first deputy prime minister issued these instructions following today's meeting on agricultural lending, which was attended by the heads of the leading banks extending loans to the agricultural industry - Vnesheconombank, Sberbank, Rosselkhozbank, VTB and Gazprombank.
"Every day of delay is critical for the affected agricultural producers, so the document should be delivered to the government by Monday," Mr Zubkov said.
The adoption of this draft resolution by the Russian government will allow banks to extend loans to agricultural producers affected by the drought with interest rate subsidies maintained.
The meeting participants also discussed the current situation with the repayment and maintenance of loans granted for agricultural purposes, short-term investment loans, lease payments, as well as granting loans for seasonal field work.
