The subcommission approved a motion to increase the rates of import duties on several types of milk and dairy products in order to support dairy farming. This motion will be submitted to the Customs Union Commission so that the rates of the Unified Customs Tariff are changed.
The participants of the meeting discussed the regulations on the import of passenger aircraft, including the issue of their full conditional exemption from customs duties when they are being leased. They also said it was necessary to request that the involved agencies specify the terms that would be favourable for the import of the aircraft into the Customs Union that are purchased by Belarus and Kazakhstan.
The participants of the meeting approved the provision of zero import duties on civil aircraft accommodating over 250 passengers. They also decided to use Standard Empty Weight as the main criterion in airline specifications.
