Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meets with Federal Tax Service head Mikhail Mishustin
The two officials focused on how the Federal Tax Service was implementing the prime minister’s instruction to write off people’s tax debts accumulated as a result of tangled legal regulations. The Federal Tax Service head also reported this year’s performance results to the prime minister.
“Against the backdrop of today’s complicated global economic situation, our objective is to create the best investment climate we can to promote an influx of capital and its protection. This would allow investors to feel comfortable and to perceive our support and protection. This is the only way for us to win the competition in attracting capital.”

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin meets with A Just Russia leader Sergei Mironov
Vladimir Putin and Sergei Mironov discussed the issues of Arctic and Antarctic research and the development of Russian polar aviation. The Prime Minister expressed his support for Sergei Mironov’s proposals. As Vladimir Putin noted, the government programme for the development of the North Sea Route must incorporate an aviation strategy.
